I’m a little bummed since I unintentionally double-exposed a roll of film. I love the way the colors turned out, though.
It so happens that all the people that ended up getting developed in them are some of my favorite people: Peter, Ariana, Astrid, my sister.
What resulted is one batch of surreal scans.
Okay now these prints are starting to grow on me.

These four photographs you see right here are the result of me sneaking around Chinese school trying to avoid people because I came to school an hour early—not of my own volition—and was quite frankly bored out of my mind. But I bring my camera everywhere, so…
It’s hard to explain, but I feel like I revisited a style of shooting that I used to do before I started shooting people.
But I didn’t just revisit—I think I reinvented. I don’t know if you can see me in these photographs, but I see both the old and the new me.
