I don’t know why I find it so surprising but I feel like the medical professionals (doctors, dentists, nurses) I’ve met this year genuinely care about their patients. Like, they have this very inspiring love and care for people that I don’t even find in professionals from careers I admire. I suppose, to really become a medical professional, you really do have to love your job (well that applies to everyone no matter what career they’re in, actually) but also care about people in an extraordinary way.
