How the fuck do people bike in the streets and/or the sidewalks in Richmond?

bike on the road and act exactly like a car. except ya know you can run red lights if no one is coming.

The only acceptable sidewalk to bike on is Broad St; the rest of the streets are perfectly suitable for biking
