I found this image really compelling; probably because it’s so “raw,” AND it was featured in Vogue, May 1989. According to Oyster Mag and Anna Wintour’s Pinterest page, “This image ran with an article on food phobias by Jeffrey Steingarten” and was photographed by Irving Penn.
